Composer and Researcher born in 1955 at Santa Rosa (La Pampa, Argentina). Graduated at Universidad Nacional de Rosario (1980). Was Director of the Program in Electronic Composition, and at present is Computer Music / Electronic Composition Professor at Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, (Argentina). He gave lectures, presentations, and concerts at several Universities at USA, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina. His musical production has been supported by the National Endowment of The Arts (Argentina), Fundación Antorchas(Argentina),Fundación Música y Tecnología(Argentina), and Rockefeller Foundation (USA), among others. His compositions has been awarded by national and international societies (National Endowment of The Arts and Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación at Argentina, and Groupe de Musique Electroacoustique de Bourges, France) and performed at Argentina, Cuba, USA, France, Spain, Chile, Uruguay, Holland, etc. He has published papers on esthetics and techniques of new music and technologies, as well as developed software for Digital Signal Processing, Musical Analysis, and Composition. | ||
